Chattogram: An elderly man has died, and 23 people have been infected with dengue in Chattogram city and district in the last 24 hours.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Civil Surgeon office reported that 23 individuals have been admitted to government hospitals with dengue within this period.
Nurul Alam, aged 65, succumbed to dengue while receiving treatment at Chattogram Medical College Hospital. The city has seen a total of 585 dengue-related hospital admissions this year. So far, three people have died from the disease this year.
