Eid-e-Miladunnabi Celebrated with Religious Fervor in Magura

Magura: The holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi was observed today in the district with due religious fervor and respect. On this significant occasion, the Islamic Foundation organized a series of events, including an Islamic cultural competition, a discussion meeting, and a prize distribution ceremony. These events took place at the District Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Centre located in Parnanduali village under Magura Sadar Upazila.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting was presided over by Muhammad Mojib Ullah Farhad, the Deputy Director of the Islamic Foundation in Magura. The Deputy Commissioner, Md Ohidul Islam, attended the event as the chief guest. The keynote speech was delivered by Hafiz Maulana Mufti Habibur Rahman, who serves as the Imam and Khatib of the Central Jame Mosque of Magura.



Speakers at the discussion emphasized the ideals, teachings, and messages of the great Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), underscoring the importance of Islamic education. The event saw participation from teachers and students representing various institutions and madrasahs across the district.



The celebration concluded with the distribution of prizes to 24 students who excelled in competitions such as essay writing, Qur’an recitation, Hamd-Naat, and extempore speech.
