Dhaka: Education Adviser CR Abrar announced that efforts are being made to allow a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinee to take her missed exam. The student was unable to attend the first day of her examination due to delays in taking her sick mother to the hospital on Thursday.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the current HSC and equivalent examinations commenced on Thursday, June 26. A student assigned to the Government Mirpur Bangla College examination center in the capital could not participate in the exam due to the incident involving her mother’s health emergency. The authorities have been made aware of the situation, as noted in a statement from the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing released this morning.
Education Adviser CR Abrar emphasized that the student’s case is being taken seriously on humanitarian grounds. He mentioned that steps are being considered to allow the student to take her missed Bangla first paper exam in accordance with the existing laws and regulations governing public examinations. Furthermore, he expressed sympathy for the student’s predicament and urged her not to worry during this challenging time.
