Dhaka: Education Adviser Professor Dr. Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar announced today that the proposals related to education, as outlined in the recently published white paper, will be pursued to the fullest extent possible. Speaking at a views-exchange programme held at the ministry's conference room with members of the White Paper Preparation Committee and relevant officials, Dr. Abrar emphasized that significant issues have been identified through discussions of the proposals, and efforts have already commenced to address them in a timely manner.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Dr. Abrar noted that the challenges pinpointed by the White Paper Preparation Committee, after consultations with various stakeholders, are indeed valid and require attention. He acknowledged that, besides the identified issues, new challenges frequently arise, necessitating quick resolutions. The ministry is actively engaging with industry stakeholders to align educational courses with industry needs, reflecting their feedback in the educational framework.
The meeting was attended by prominent figures, including Dr. Debapriya Bhattacharya, head of the White Paper Preparation Committee, Senior Secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Division Siddique Jobayer, and Secretary of the Technical and Madrasah Education Division Dr. K. M. Kabirul Islam, among others.
