EC to Hold Coordination Meeting with Field Administration Officials Ahead of National Election

Dhaka: The Election Commission (EC) is set to hold a crucial coordination meeting with field administration officials on October 22 as preparations intensify for the upcoming 13th national parliament election. This meeting aims to ensure seamless coordination and effective management of the electoral process.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the official communication was conveyed through a letter signed by Mohammad Monir Hossain, Deputy Secretary at the EC Secretariat and Member Secretary of the Coordination Committee with Field Administration. The meeting is scheduled to commence at 10:30 a.m. in Room No. 413 of the EC’s conference room. Election Commissioner Md Anwarul Islam Sarker will preside over the session.



In attendance will be senior officials from the EC Secretariat, including the Senior Secretary, Additional Secretary, and Director General of the National Identity Registration Wing. Other key participants include high-ranking officials from various ministries and departments. Notable attendees will include Mohammad Monirul Islam from the Cabinet Division, Rahima Akhter from the Ministry of Public Administration, and Khandaker Md Nazmul Huda Shamim from the Local Government Division. Representatives from the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Secondary and Higher Education Division of the Ministry of Education, and officials from the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, as well as a representative from Bangladesh Bank, will also participate in the discussions.



The meeting underscores the EC’s commitment to facilitating a well-coordinated election process, ensuring that all necessary preparations are in place for the upcoming electoral event.
