DUMA President to Perform Mime in Poland on Bangladesh’s Independence Day

Warsaw: Dhaka University Mime Action (DUMA) President Ubaidullah Ridwan has been invited to perform mime in Warsaw, Poland, on the occasion of Bangladesh’s Independence and National Day on March 26. The performance will take place at the National Day reception on Thursday at the Ratuszowa Hall of the Palace of Culture and Science, organised by the Bangladesh Embassy in Poland.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event aims to showcase Bangladesh’s artistic heritage on an international platform, promoting cultural exchange between Bangladesh and Europe. The inclusion of mime performances by Bangladeshi artists is expected to add cultural value to the event and strengthen artistic ties between Bangladesh and Poland.



DUMA has been at the forefront of promoting mime as an artistic medium in Bangladesh, focusing on themes such as human rights, social justice, and public awareness. Through this landmark appearance in Poland, DUMA aims to highlight the spirit of Bangladesh’s independence and its cultural legacy to a global audience.
