Dhaka: Professor Saifuddin Ahmad has resigned from the post of Proctor of Dhaka University. Prof Saifuddin confirmed to UNB that he has already submitted his resignation letter to the Vice-Chancellor.
According to United News of Bangladesh, Prof Saifuddin stated that the university is now in a stable condition and significant work has been accomplished during his 20-month tenure. He expressed a desire to return to academic life and spend more time with students.
Prof Saifuddin mentioned, “I have missed my students a lot. I want to return to them and resume regular classes,” highlighting his intention to re-engage with the academic community.
