Dhaka: The admission test for Dhaka University’s (DU) ‘Kha Unit’, which includes the Faculties of Arts, Law, and Social Sciences for the 2025-2026 academic session, was held today in a fair and peaceful manner. The test commenced at 11:00 am and concluded at 12:30 pm, taking place at Dhaka University and at public university centers in seven divisional cities outside Dhaka.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a total of 17,701 candidates participated in the examination for 2,934 available seats. This translates to nearly 39 applicants competing for each seat, highlighting the competitive nature of the admission process. Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan visited the Social Sciences Faculty building examination center around noon to oversee the proceedings and ensure everything was conducted smoothly.
Beyond Dhaka, the examination was held at several prominent universities, including Rajshahi University, Chattogram University, Barishal University, Khulna University, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh Agricultural University in Mymensingh, and Begum Rokeya University.
