Dhaka: Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Administrator Bir Muktijoddha Md. Abdus Salam today formally inaugurated the activities of 'i Tech and Consultancy', an organization working to promote global education opportunities in Bangladesh. He inaugurated the organization's office at the Greater Mymensingh Association building in the capital by cutting a ribbon this evening.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a prayer session was held before the inauguration, seeking divine blessings for the success and prosperity of the organization. Officials and well-wishers attended the session. Following the inauguration, the DSCC Administrator joined a brief discussion.

At the meeting, speakers highlighted that Bangladesh aims to send 500,000 workers to Japan over the next two and a half years, with significant employment opportunities available in caregiving, driving, and civil construction under Japan's Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) programme. They emphasized that initiatives such as this could help connect Bangladesh's youth with global education and labour markets while contributing to the development of a skilled workforce.
