Dhaka: Administrator of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Bir Muktijoddha Md. Abdus Salam formally inaugurated the activities of 'i Tech and Consultancy', an organization focused on promoting global education in Bangladesh. He cut the ribbon at the 'i Tech and Consultancy' office in the Greater Mymensingh Association building in the city to officially commence the organization's operations this evening.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the inauguration was preceded by a milad mahfil, seeking the boundless mercy of Almighty Allah and praying for the success, prosperity, and well-being of the organization's new venture. The event was attended by officials of the organization and well-wishers.
The DSCC Administrator expressed support for the initiative, aiming to expand opportunities for individuals interested in overseas employment. During the discussion, officials highlighted Bangladesh's goal to send 500,000 workers to Japan within the next two and a half years.
Speakers at the event underscored the extensive employment opportunities available in caregiving, driving, and civil construction sectors under Japan's Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) Programme. They stressed the importance of such initiatives in connecting Bangladesh's youth with global education and labor markets and developing a skilled workforce.
