Dhaka: The newly appointed Administrator of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), Md Mahmudul Hassan, today emphasized the importance of maintaining the highest level of professionalism, sincerity, and public involvement to enhance civic services.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Md Mahmudul Hassan highlighted the critical role the city corporation plays in providing services that directly impact all residents of the city. He shared these insights while engaging with senior officials of the corporation at a meeting held at the Nagar Bhaban.
He acknowledged the resource limitations faced by the corporation but reiterated the commitment to delivering top-level services to the capital’s citizens. The Administrator underscored the importance of effective birth and death registration, controlling dengue outbreaks, efficient waste management, and the timely completion of ongoing development projects.
Furthermore, the Administrator instructed zonal executive officers to strengthen public engagement and prioritize the concerns and sentiments of the people. The meeting was attended by key figures including DSCC Chief Executive Officer Md Zahirul Islam, Secretary Shafiqul Islam, department heads, superintendent engineers, and zonal executive officers.
