Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted that weather would remain dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am today. Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country during midnight to morning, and it may continue till noon at some locations, a BMD bulletin mentioned this morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, air navigation, inland river transport, and road communication may be temporarily disrupted due to thick fog. The bulletin added that night temperatures may rise slightly, while day temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged across the country. Due to the foggy conditions, cold feelings may persist at many places over the country.
The highest temperature on Friday was recorded at 31.0 degrees Celsius in Teknaf, located in the Chattogram division, and today’s minimum temperature is 8.8 degrees Celsius in Jashore, situated in the Khulna division. The sun is set to set at 5:19 pm today and will rise at 6:40 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
