Motihara: BNP standing committee member Prof. Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain, candidate for Nawabganj-Birampur-Hakimpur-Ghoraghat, exercised his voting right in the 13th National Parliament election today at Motihara Government Primary School in Putimara union of Nawabganj upazila. After casting his vote, Dr. Zahid Hossain expressed his confidence in securing a victory, emphasizing the importance of impartial voting for a significant win.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Dr. Zahid Hossain conveyed his belief that the electorate, cutting across barriers of religion, caste, party, or opinion, has shown a strong inclination to support the ‘Sheaf of Paddy’ symbol. He highlighted the collective desire to see a government formed under the leadership of BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman, son of the party’s founder, Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, and late national leader Begum Khaleda Zia.
The voting process in Dinajpur has been reported as smooth, with candidates from different parties actively encouraging the electorate to engage in the democratic process.
