Doa Mahfil Held in Khulna for Begum Khaleda Zia’s Recovery

Khulna: A doa mahfil was held in Khulna today seeking the speedy recovery of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. The event took place after Maghrib prayers at the Sonadanga Thana BNP office at Taltola Mor on KDA Avenue in the city.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Nazrul Islam Manju, the BNP-nominated candidate for the Khulna-2 constituency, participated as the chief guest. The event was presided over by Moniruzzaman Moni, the former General Secretary of Khulna Metropolitan BNP and a former Mayor, who is also recognized as a valiant freedom fighter.

Maulana Mujibur Rahman led the doa mahfil. It has been announced that similar doa mahfils will be organized in all mosques across the city following Jummah prayers tomorrow to pray for the recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia.

Nazrul Islam Manju and Moniruzzaman Moni have urged all BNP leaders, activists, and members of its affiliated and associate organizations to join the doa mahfils.
