Dhaka: Leaders and activists of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) at Dhaka University organized a Quran recitation, doa, and iftar mahfil on the campus, praying for the eternal peace of former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. The event took place at the Hazi Muhammad Mohsin Hall premises, drawing participation from hall unit leaders, general students, teachers, and staff members of the university.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the program was presided over by Abujar Gifari Efat, the convener of the Mohsin Hall unit Chhatra Dal, with Member Secretary Mansur Ahmad moderating. Efat described Begum Khaleda Zia as a symbol of struggle and a source of inspiration for political activists. He emphasized the hall's commitment to moving forward with the inspiration derived from her legacy.
The event was also attended by Dhaka University Chhatra Dal President Ganesh Chandra Ray Sahos and General Secretary Nahiduzzaman Shipon, alongside other notable participants.
