DNCRP Fines Four Businesses for Consumer Rights Violations in Ctg

Chattogram: The Directorate of National Consumers Right Protection (DNCRP) today fined four businesses a total of Tk 2.8 lakh for violating consumers’ rights in the Chaktai area under Bakalia thana.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the fines were imposed following a mobile court operation by the DNCRP. The businesses were penalized for several violations, including processing food in unhygienic conditions, drying products in the open sun, and failing to keep a price list.



The operation was led by DNCRP Deputy Director Mohammad Faiz Ullah, with Assistant Directors Anisur Rahman and Rana Deb Nath also present during the drive.
