Dhaka: Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 2,395 cases against vehicles, owners, and drivers for violating traffic rules. DMP traffic police dumped 329 motor vehicles and towed 113 vehicles during the campaign against traffic rule violations, according to a press release issued today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the DMP release further stated that these drives against traffic rule breakers will continue to ensure discipline on Dhaka’s streets. The ongoing efforts aim to address traffic congestion and improve road safety by penalizing those who do not adhere to established regulations.
