Dhaka: Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 2,270 cases across the capital for violating traffic rules.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the DMP Traffic Division filed these cases and imposed fines on September 23 during a regular drive targeting traffic rule violators.

The press release issued today stated that the DMP traffic police also dumped 387 motor vehicles and towed 92 vehicles during the campaign. The ongoing effort aims to maintain discipline on Dhaka’s streets by continuing these drives against those breaking traffic rules.
