DMP Files 1,916 Cases Against Traffic Rules Breakers

Dhaka: Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 1,916 cases against vehicles, owners, and drivers for violating traffic rules.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the DMP Traffic Division initiated these cases and collected fines starting from May 24 during a regular drive targeting traffic rules violators.



The DMP release stated that 188 motor vehicles were dumped and 136 vehicles were towed during the campaign. The ongoing efforts aim to ensure discipline on Dhaka’s streets, with the DMP committed to continuing these drives against traffic rule violations.
