Achham: The District Administration Office and the District Police Office here have initiated interactions to hear public complaints. They reached all 10 local levels in a bid to hear complaints and make correction in service delivery.
As per campaign to reach people, an interaction was organized at Chaurpati rural municipality on Friday.
On the occasion, Chief District Administrator and Police Chief shared information on the services their offices provide.
CDO Sharad Kumar Pokhrel said the public awareness programmes were organized against social ills. The people were also informed about the existing act, directive and work procedures the service seekers need to follow.
CDO Pokhrel sought roles from all sides concerned including people’s representatives and civil society society members to wipe out social evils as violence against women, child marriage, untouchability, and drug abuse.
Similarly, Deputy Superintendent of Police Santosh Pathak said the security arrangement was beefed up at Dailekh-Achham
border and Achham-Doti border in order to curb drug abuse.
