Lalmonirhat:Disaster Management and Relief Minister Asadul Habib Dulu MP has arrived in Lalmonirhat this evening for a five-day official visit.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the minister's itinerary includes providing financial assistance to the families of Mobarak, Jobed, and Faruk at the Lalmonirhat Collectorate grounds tomorrow at 230 pm. These individuals were killed during the democratic movement.
At 245 pm, also at the Collectorate grounds, Dulu will distribute General Relief rice to 162 temples in Lalmonirhat Sadar upazila for Durga Puja and distribute gift items among Sanaton devotees.
On Friday, the minister is scheduled to inaugurate the new building of 'Swochar Sangsad' at Barabari under Lalmonirhat Sadar upazila at 330 pm. Following this event, he will attend the inauguration of the road development project connecting Barabari GC to Kulaghat UP via Barahat Kali and Auliar Par at 430 pm. Later that evening, at 7 pm, he will visit various Puja mandaps across Lalmonirhat Sadar upazila.
On Saturday, Dulu will be the chief guest at the quarter-final match of the 'Deputy Commissioner Alokita Kishore Gold Cup Football Tournament 2026' at the Lalmonirhat District Stadium at 230 pm. That evening, he will again visit various Puja mandaps in the area.
The minister is scheduled to depart from Saidpur Airport for Dhaka on Sunday at 1150 am.
