Dipen Dewan Seeks Blessings for National Prosperity at Rajban Bihar

Chittagong hill tracts: Affairs Minister Dipen Dewan participated in a special religious programme at the historic Rajban Bihar this morning, where he sought blessings for the prosperity of the country and the nation.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during the event, the minister engaged in various religious activities, including performing Buddhamurti Dan, Sanghadan, and Astaparishkar Dan, praying for blessings from Lord Buddha. A ministry press release highlighted that the minister also offered prayers for the eternal peace of his deceased parents, parents-in-law, and departed relatives, as well as for the happiness and peace of all living beings. The monastery premises were filled with devotees attending the event.



Speaking at the occasion, Minister Dewan expressed his vision for a Bangladesh where people of all religions live with mutual respect and harmony. He prayed for the continued success of the Bangladesh government and the overall prosperity of the nation, emphasizing the need for unity to maintain peace and development.



The event also featured religious sermons delivered by Srimat Praggyalankar Mahathera, the resident head of Rangamati Rajban Bihar and chief disciple of Banabhante. Notable attendees included the minister’s spouse Maitree Dewan, local leaders from Rangamati district BNP, and other distinguished persons.



The programme concluded with all participants taking part in special prayers for world peace and the welfare of the country.
