The Chief Whip underscored the value of discussion and criticism in Parliament, suggesting that consensus is achievable through patriotic dialogue. He also called on the media to balance their reporting by highlighting positive developments alongside negative ones.

Further, he praised the prime minister's efforts towards the overall welfare of the country, mentioning initiatives focused on building a humane state, consolidating democracy, and safeguarding independence and sovereignty.
On the topic of employment and human resource development, Islam stressed the importance of language skills to boost overseas job opportunities.
