Dhaka: Prime Minister's Adviser on Foreign Affairs Humauin Kobir and Nepal's Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanshyam Bhandari today discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in key sectors, including trade, power, regional connectivity, and tourism.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the issues were addressed when the Nepalese envoy paid a courtesy call on the Foreign Affairs Adviser at the Prime Minister's Office in Tejgaon. A foreign ministry's press release highlighted the discussions on the longstanding friendly relations between Bangladesh and Nepal and various mutual interests.
During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral engagement and enhancing cooperation in trade, electricity, regional connectivity, tourism, and other areas. They recognized the importance of closer collaboration for mutual benefit.
The representatives from both countries also expressed their resolve to further strengthen the existing cordial ties through sustained engagement and cooperation across various sectors.
