Dhaka Handball Club won series in both men's and women's section of the Dhaka-Assam Handball Series that concluded at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the city on Tuesday. In the men's section match, Dhaka Handball Club won the series by 4-0 margin while in the women's section Dhaka handball Club won the series by 3-0 margin against visiting Assam handball team. Meanwhile, on the last day of men's section matches, Bangladesh Junior (U-20) handball team beat Assam handball team by 32-23 goals after dominating the first half by 19-9 goals while Bangladesh youth (U-18) handball team defeated Assam handball team by 39-28 gals after dominating the first half by 26-14 goals. While in the women's section, Dhaka Handball Club defeated Assam handball team by 16-4 goals after leading the first half by 10-1 goals. Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF general secretary Asaduzzaman Kohinoor was the chie fguest iknt he closing ceremony and distributed the prizes.
