Dhaka: Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Dinesh Trivedi on Sunday met Cultural Affairs Minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury, with both sides highlighting the importance of strengthening cultural engagement between the two countries. The discussion emphasized the deep-rooted cultural connections shared by the people of India and Bangladesh.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the meeting focused on potential cooperation and exchanges in the fields of classical music, folk art, heritage conservation, institutional linkages, and joint cultural programs and conferences. These efforts are particularly aimed at promoting people-to-people ties, especially during Nazrul Borsho celebrations. State Minister for Cultural Affairs Ali Nawaz Mahmud Khayyam was also present at the meeting.
