Dhaka: Three more people died of dengue and 907 new patients were hospitalised across the country in 24 hours until 8:00am on Tuesday. With the latest fatalities, the dengue death toll has risen to 88 in the country this year, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
According to United News of Bangladesh, the new deaths were reported in Dhaka South City Corporation and Dhaka division. During the reporting period, 894 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery. Since January 1 this year, a total of 30,830 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country. Of them, 28,652 have been discharged, while 2,090 patients are currently undergoing treatment.
