DAB Unit of SZMC Commemorates Begum Khaleda Zia’s 80th Birthday with Doa Mahfil

Rajshahi: A special doa mahfil was held today to commemorate the 80th birth anniversary of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. The event was organized by the Bangladesh Democratic Doctors Association (DAB) unit of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College (SZMC).



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event took place at the Central Jame Mosque of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital following Zuhr prayers. Principal of SZMC, Professor Dr. Wadudul Haque Tarafdar, delivered a brief speech before the commencement of the doa mahfil.



The gathering saw the presence of Vice-Principal Prof Dr. Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal, Medical College Hospital Director Colonel Md. Mohsin, and BNP Media Cell Rajshahi and Rangpur Divisional Coordinator Kalam Azad, among others. The event was also attended by Assistant Prof Dr. MA Wahed, Dr. Abu Zahed Md. Firoz, Dr. Jamal-e-Rabbi, Dr. Arifin Jewel, Dr. Atiq, Dr. Moslehuddin Haider Russell, Dr. Aminul Islam Hiru, Dr. Sharif, Dr. Deep, Dr. Sajjad, along with other teachers and doctors.
