Menjis Krira Chakra made a good start in the Cute Premier Division Handball League 2022 beating Surjodaya Krira Chakra by 39-28 goal in the official opening match at the Shaheed (Capt) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in Paltan here on Tuesday.
The winner led the first half by 21-12 goal.
Earlier, State Minister for Youth and Sports M Zahid Ahsan Russell inaugurated the league, organized by Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF), Tuesday afternoon as the chief guest.
Chairman of the meet’s sponsor Mousumi Industries Ltd (Cute) Kazi Razibddin Ahmed Chapal was also present as special guest. BHF general secretary Asaduzzaman Kohinoor was also present.
Earlier, Jurain Janata Club beat Arambagh KS by 42-29 goals while Flame Boys Club defeated Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club by 29-23 goal at the same venue Tuesday afternoon.
