Cultural Ministry Unveils Detailed Schedule for ‘July 36’ Celebrations

Dhaka: Cultural ministry has taken elaborate programmes to celebrate ‘July 36’ here today marking the anniversary of the mass uprising. Various events, including a concert, will be held throughout the day on Manik Mia Avenue in Dhaka, an official release said. Organised by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy is managing the events in association with Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the cultural ministry has released the schedule of the events for the day. Islamic cultural group Saimum Shilpigosthi will perform at 11:20 am, followed by Kalarab Shilpigosthi at 11:40 am. Nahid Islam is scheduled to speak at 12:05 pm, with a musical performance by Tashfi at 12:30 pm. After the Zohr prayers, performances by Chittagong Hip Hop Hood, Shezan, and Shunno Band are planned, leading up to the celebration of ‘Fascist’s Fleeing Moment’ at 2:25 pm.



The concert will resume with Shayan performing at 2:40 pm, Ethun Babu and Mousumi at 3 pm, Souls at 3:30 pm, and Warfaze at 4 pm. A break is scheduled for Asr prayers at 4:45 pm. Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus will then read out the historic ‘July Declaration’. The Basic Guitar Learning School will perform at 5:30 pm, followed by F Minor at 5:50 pm, and Parsha at 6:15 pm. A break for Maghrib prayers will occur at 6:50 pm.



At 7 pm, Elita Karim will entertain the audience with her music. From 7:30 pm to 8 pm, a special drone drama titled “Do You Miss Me” will be performed, followed by a drone show. Popular band Artcell will also perform. In addition to these programs, there will be various other events throughout the day.
