Chittagong: The Chittagong University (CU) has announced the tentative dates for the 2026-27 academic year’s first-year (Honours) programme admission tests, set to commence on January 29.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the university authorities have also released the schedule for online application submissions. Prospective students can apply online from November 15 to December 10. This announcement was made in a press release signed by S M Akbar Hossain, the Deputy Registrar (Academic) and Member Secretary of the Admission Committee.
The notice specifies that the tentative test dates were established following a decision from today’s admission committee meeting. The admission test for Unit A is scheduled for January 30, 2027 (Saturday), Unit B for February 5 (Friday), Unit C for January 29 (Friday), and Unit D for February 6 (Saturday). Additional tests for sub-units will occur on February 3, 4, and 8.
Continuing the tradition, the admission tests will be conducted simultaneously across three divisional cities: Chattogram (Chittagong University campus), Dhaka (Dhaka University campus), and Rajshahi (Rajshahi University campus). However, tests for sub-units B-1, B-2, and D-1 will be held exclusively on the CU campus.
