Ctg district admin conducts mobile court to curb price hike

The district administration has conducted

mobile courts in different markets of Mirsari, Boalkhali and Hathazari

upazilas of the district to keep the prices of daily essentials under

control.

Separate mobile courts, conducted raids at different markets of three

upazilas, today fined Taka 31 thousand from 18 shops to control prices of

daily essentials.

The mobile courts realized fines for various irregularities including selling

products at a higher price than the purchasing price and not displaying the

price list of products.

Executive Magistrate ABM Moshiuzzaman of Fatikchari upazila said to keep the

price of essential commodities stable operations are underway in important

wholesale and retail markets of the district.
