Dhaka: The Health Department has reported twenty one new COVID-19 cases in the 24-hour period from 8 am Friday to 8 am today. During this time, 384 samples were tested, yielding a patient detection rate of 5.47 percent.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the total number of deaths reached 22 this year. Since the onset of the pandemic in 2020, the country has recorded a total of 29,521 COVID-19-related deaths.
