Dhaka: The Health Department has reported 10 new COVID-19 cases in the 24-hour period from 8 am Thursday to 8 am today. During this time, 199 samples were tested, yielding a patient detection rate of 5.02 percent. One person has died from COVID-19 in the same period, bringing the total number of deaths to 20 in 2025.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, since the onset of the pandemic in 2020, the country has recorded a total of 29,519 COVID-19-related deaths. The health authorities continue to monitor the situation closely as they work to manage the spread of the virus and provide care to those affected.
