Cover of ‘Five-Year Strategic Framework’ Unveiled to Guide Bangladesh’s Reform, Development

The government today unveiled the cover of its five-year strategic framework for reform and development (july 2026 to june 2031) and a complementary strategic action matrix:ear Strategic Framework for Reform and Development (July 2026 to June 2031) and a complementary Strategic Action Matrix, outlining a comprehensive roadmap for economic recovery, restoration, and acceleration over the next five years. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman formally unveiled the covers of the two volumes at a meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) at the NEC Conference Room in the city’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area today. The documents have been prepared under the initiative of the General Economics Division (GED) of the Planning Commission.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, speaking after the meeting, GED Member Dr. Monzur Hossain said the initiative to formulate the Five-Year Strategic Framework was taken immediately after the government assumed office. State Minister for Planning Md. Zonayed Abdur Rahim Saki briefed reporters after the meeting.



The draft received policy approval at a meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC) on May 18 and was subsequently finalized.
