Dhaka: Police arrested 1,515 crime suspects from different parts of the country in the last 24 hours, according to Police Headquarters statement.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the statement issued today detailed that 982 of those arrested were wanted in previous cases and warrants, while 533 others faced charges for other criminal activities. The operation also led to the seizure of various weapons, including a revolver, a one shooter gun, one long gun, one pistol, one G3 rifle, one MA-1 variant rifle, one LM-16 variant rifle, a locally made gun, 511 rounds of bullets, seven rounds of cartridges, nine magazines, and other locally made weapons.
