Dhaka: Country reported three more Covid-19 cases out of four in the last 24 hours till this morning. With the new number, the country’s total Covid-19 caseload rose to 20,51,742 according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, six people have recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 20,19,363. No fatalities were reported during this period, with the official death toll remaining unchanged at 29,500.
The DGHS stated that the daily case test positivity rate was 75 percent as four samples were tested. The first case of Coronavirus in the country was detected on March 8, 2020, followed by the first recorded death from the virus ten days later, on March 18 of the same year.
