Dhaka: The Council of Advisers today approved the draft 'Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (Amendment) Ordinance, 2025'. This decision was made during the 34th meeting of the council, which took place at the Chief Adviser's Office in Tejgaon, Dhaka, as per a press release from the Cabinet Division.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the council also gave its in-principle endorsement to the draft 'Voters' List (Amendment) Ordinance, 2025'. This ordinance is set to bring changes to the existing electoral framework, ensuring updated voter registration processes.
Additionally, the council has given final approval to the draft of the 'Human Organ Transplantation Ordinance, 2025'. This approval is contingent upon vetting by the Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs Division, signaling the government's commitment to advancing healthcare regulations in the country.
