Gaibandha: A 32-year-old content creator, identified as Shawon Mia, was killed in a road accident in Gobindaganj upazila of the district today. The accident occurred around 11:00 am in Islampur Current More area on the Gobindaganj-Raja Birat Road.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Shawon, a resident of Daridah Sardar Para village in Mokamtola upazila of Bogura district, had been working as a content creator on Facebook for a long time. Police reports indicate that he was riding a motorcycle while making a video. At one point, he reportedly took both hands off the motorcycle's handlebar. After traveling some distance, he lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into a roadside tree.
Locals attempted to rescue him in an injured condition and were taking him to the Gobindaganj Upazila Health Complex when he succumbed to his injuries. Gobindaganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Mozammel Haque confirmed the incident.
