Dhaka: Land Minister Md. Mizanur Rahman Minu today declared that any conspiracy against the country and the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will be firmly countered with the support of the people. “No conspiracy can withstand the unity of the soldiers of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, and current Prime Minister Tarique Rahman,” Minu stated during a rally organized by the Rajshahi city unit of BNP at Batar Mor, marking the party’s 48th founding anniversary.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Minu emphasized that the BNP, founded by Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, the proclaimer of independence, has consistently worked for the welfare of the country and its citizens. He noted that despite severe repression during previous governments, the BNP could not be silenced because it “never bows its head to anyone.”
Minu highlighted that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is implementing various programs focused on public welfare, which are benefiting ordinary people. He asserted that the BNP has always stood by the people and will continue to do so in the future. The rally was chaired by Rajshahi city BNP President Mamun-or-Rashid Mamun. Following the rally, a colorful procession led by the minister paraded through the main roads of the city.
