Dhaka: The National Consensus Commission has extended an invitation to BNP Chairperson and Former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, along with the party's Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, to participate in the July National Charter Signing ceremony.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the invitation was sent by Consensus Commission Members Dr. Badiul Alam Majumdar and Monir Haidar on behalf of the Chief Adviser of the interim government, Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus. The event is part of the efforts to promote national unity and political collaboration.
BNP Media Cell Member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the receipt of the invitation. The much-anticipated signing ceremony of the July National Charter 2025 is scheduled to take place tomorrow at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, marking a significant step towards political consensus in the country.
