Chinese Delegation Engages in Academic Dialogue with Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor

Dhaka: A thirteen-member delegation today called on Dhaka University (DU) Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Mamun Ahmed. The delegation, led by Sun Yong, Vice-Governor of Anhui Province of China, paid the call on at VC’s meeting room of DU, according to a press release.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the other team members of the Chinese delegation included Zhou Mingjie, Fang Jinsong, Yang Xiaolin, Hou Qijie, Wang Haixia, Yang Zhen, Liu Yang, Zhai Rongsheng, Wang Mingxin, Liu Chunyang, Wang Zhengqiao, and Chen Shansheng. The meeting focused on discussing joint collaborative academic and research programmes on science and technology, biotechnology, and artificial intelligence.



Further discussions were held on the exchange of teachers, students, and cultural teams between Dhaka University and various Chinese universities. Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) Professor Dr Mamun Ahmed emphasized the long-standing historical friendly relationship between Bangladesh and China, highlighting the importance of enhancing collaborative academic and research initiatives between Dhaka University and Chinese educational institutions.
