A Dhaka Children’s court today scraped chief

metropolitan magistrate court’s (CMM) order of placing a student of Dhaka

College Hasnatul Islam Faiyaz on seven-day remand as the accused was found to

be under aged.

CMM court on July 27 placed the boy on seven-day remand in a subversion case

filed by the police as the defence failed to submit any evidence in support

of his age.

The defence, however, submitted his birth certificate and SSC certificate

before the CMM court today, making it to suspend his remand order and forward

the matter to concerned Children’s court.

The children’s court after holding hearing on the matter, scrapped Faiyaz’s

remand.
