Chittagong: A three-year-old boy died after falling from the roof of a seven-storey building in the Bibirhat area of Fatikchhari upazila here this afternoon. The deceased, Karim, was the second son of Saudi Arabia expatriate Mohinuddin.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, police reported that when Karim’s mother was occupied with household chores, the young boy managed to climb onto the roof and tragically fell while playing near the edge.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival. Authorities have stated that they are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
