Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus to Attend National Consensus Commission Meeting with Political Parties

Dhaka: Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus is set to participate in a meeting of the National Consensus Commission alongside political parties at the Foreign Service Academy this evening. The agenda includes discussions on the preparations and other pertinent issues related to the upcoming July National Charter signing ceremony.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a preliminary meeting was convened this afternoon at the State Guest House Jamuna, chaired by Commission Chairman and Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus. The Chief Adviser’s Press Wing announced the details following the meeting, which focused on strategies and plans leading up to the July National Charter 2025 signing.



Key figures in attendance included Commission Vice-President Professor Ali Riaz, members Justice Md Emdadul Haque, Safar Raj Hossain, Dr. Iftekharuzzaman, Dr. Badiul Alam Majumdar, and Dr. Md Aiyub Mia. Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser Monir Haidar also participated. Additionally, National Security Adviser Dr. Khalilur Rahman and Principal Secretary to the Chief Adviser M Siraz Uddin Miah were present, underscoring the significance of the event.



The signing ceremony for the July National Charter 2025 is planned for October 17 at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban in the capital, marking a pivotal moment in the nation’s political landscape.
