DHAKA: Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Bangladesh Blind Cricket Team for their remarkable performance in the T20 Blind Cricket World Cup. The team emerged as the runners-up in the tournament, which took place in Pakistan from November 21 to December 3. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Chief Adviser expressed immense pride in the team's achievement, highlighting the nation's admiration for their hard work and dedication. Bangladesh's journey to the finals culminated in a match against host Pakistan, where they were defeated by 10 wickets in Multan. The tournament featured six participating countries: Pakistan, Bangladesh, South Africa, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan, and was held across two cities, Lahore and Multan. This achievement marks the second consecutive time Bangladesh has secured the runners-up position, following their previous performance in India in 2022.
