Chattogram: The Chattogram Furniture Fair is all set to commence at the city's GEC Convention Centre on December 3. This six-day event is being organized by the Bangladesh Furniture Industries Owners Association (BFIOA), announced Md. Nurul Azam Khan, Vice President of BFIOA's Chattogram unit, during a press conference held at the city's Pavilion Hotel. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Md. Nurul Azam Khan, who also serves as the Convener of the Fair Committee, presented a written statement detailing the event's plans. The fair is anticipated to see participation from nearly 40 furniture companies, showcasing a diverse range of furniture collections. Chattogram City Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain will grace the inaugural ceremony as the chief guest, with Selim H Rahman, Chairman of BFIOA, officially inaugurating the event. The fair will be accessible to the public from 10 am to 9 pm each day, offering an opportunity for attendees to explore a wide array of furniture options. The event aims to promote lo cal furniture manufacturers and provide a platform for businesses to connect with potential customers and stakeholders.
