Chattogram: Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) is set to organize a day-long Tax Fair-2025 on Sunday, aimed at facilitating tax payments for city residents at the ground floor of Premier University in the city’s Dampara area. The event will take place from 10 am to 3 pm, following official procedures.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the fair is specifically scheduled for residents of ward numbers 1, 2, 3, 7, 8 under Revenue Circle-One and ward numbers 14, 15, 21, 22, 23, and 28 under Revenue Circle-Five of CCC. Taxpayers attending the fair will have access to services such as trade license renewals and holding tax payments.
In an official statement, CCC Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain encouraged taxpayers to attend the tax fair punctually to complete their necessary transactions. The fair will provide an opportunity for residents to pay updated holding taxes and renew trade licenses without incurring surcharges. Additionally, pending appeals regarding holdings will be addressed, and activities will be conducted to raise awareness about the methods of holding tax payment.
