CA Mourns Ex-Minister Abdullah Al Noman’s Death

Dhaka: Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of former minister and valiant freedom fighter Abdullah Al Noman. In a condolence message, the Chief Adviser highlighted Abdullah Al Noman’s significant contributions as a leader in Bangladesh politics and his heroic role in the Liberation War of 1971. He acknowledged Noman’s lifelong dedication to his political career, which began in the early sixties and continued until his passing.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Abdullah Al Noman was a prominent figure in the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). He was elected as a member of parliament three times from the Chittagong-9 constituency. His political career included serving as the minister in the ministries of fisheries and food in the Bangladesh government. Noman’s influence extended beyond politics, earning respect from people across different political affiliations in Chittagong.



The Chief Adviser offered prayers for the eternal peace of Noman’s departed soul and expressed deep sympathy to his bereaved family.
