Ganabhaban: On the occasion of the ‘July Mass Uprising Day’, Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus inspected the progress of the construction work of the ‘July Mass Uprising Memorial Museum’ at Ganabhaban here today. The museum is envisioned as a document of the context, struggle, martyrs, and victory associated with the historic July Uprising of 2024.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, upon reaching the construction site, the Chief Adviser engaged with the engineers, architects, and workers involved in the project. He emphasized the importance of completing the museum’s construction swiftly and effectively. The museum aims to commemorate the significant events and sacrifices that marked the July Uprising.
Liberation War Affairs Adviser Faruk E Azam, Public Works Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan, Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, and other members of the Museum Implementation Committee were present during the Chief Adviser’s visit. Their presence underscored the collaborative efforts being made to ensure the museum’s completion and the preservation of this important chapter in the nation’s history.
